Terms of sale

1. Seller and scope

These general terms of sale apply to any order placed on lecododo.com by a consumer. The seller is LeCododo (lecododo.com), reachable at contact@lecododo.com.

By confirming your payment, you accept the terms of sale in force on the date of your order.

2. Products

The essential characteristics of the products are presented on each product page. Products must be used in accordance with their instructions and the safety advice given, in particular for items intended for infant sleep.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in euros and include all applicable taxes. Delivery is free to the countries we serve. The applicable price is the one displayed when the order is confirmed.

4. Ordering

You add products to your cart, then go to the secure payment page, where you enter your details and delivery address and can enter a promo code. The order is final once payment is confirmed; a summary email is then sent to you.

5. Payment

Payment is made by bank card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay or Google Pay, through our payment provider Stripe. Your bank may require strong authentication (3-D Secure). The amount is charged when the order is confirmed.

6. Delivery

We deliver to mainland France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco. Orders are prepared within 1 to 2 business days and delivered in 5 to 10 business days in total for most products; some items are delivered within 14 business days at most, as stated on their product page and on the payment page. A tracking number is sent by email when your order ships. If your order is more than 30 days late, you may cancel it and receive a full refund. Please report any damaged parcel within 48 hours, with photos.

7. Right of withdrawal

The law gives you 14 days after delivery to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason. LeCododo extends this period to 30 days.

To exercise it, inform us of your decision by email at contact@lecododo.com (you may use the model form below), then return the product within 14 days of your message, to the address given by our customer service. The product must be complete and, preferably, in its original packaging. Return costs are your responsibility, unless the product is faulty or we made a mistake.

We refund all sums paid no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision; we may withhold the refund until we receive the product. The refund is made using the same payment method. Handling the product beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and functioning may make you liable for any loss in value.

8. Legal guarantees

All our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only needs to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared. The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to the repair or replacement of the goods within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience. Any goods repaired under this guarantee benefit from a six-month extension of the guarantee. The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and receive a full refund against return of the goods, if the seller refuses to repair or replace them, if bringing them into conformity is impossible or takes longer than thirty days, or if the defect persists. The consumer may also invoke the guarantee against hidden defects within two years of discovering the defect.

9. Liability

LeCododo is not liable for damage resulting from use that does not comply with the instructions or safety guidelines. Products intended for sleep must be used in line with the infant sleep recommendations given on each product page.

12. Applicable law

These terms of sale are governed by French law. In any event, you benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. In the event of a dispute, please contact us first: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts may be seized.
