The data we use

  • Orders: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number, items purchased. Your bank details are entered on Stripe’s page and are never passed on to us.
  • Messages: the messages you send us by email or phone.
  • Cart reminder (only if you ask for it in the cart): your email address and the contents of your cart, to send you your cart and up to 4 emails over 6 weeks (reminders, welcome code) if you don’t complete your order (one-click unsubscribe in every email).
  • Browsing: our host’s technical logs (IP address, pages requested), kept for the security of the website.
  • Visit statistics: aggregate traffic measurements (Umami, no cookies, no IP address stored).
  • Advertising (only with your consent): the information collected by the Meta pixel about your visit (pages and products viewed, items added to the cart, order placed and its amount).

Why, and on what legal basis

  • Processing and delivering your order, handling returns and the guarantee: performance of the contract.
  • Keeping our accounts: legal obligation.
  • Measuring website traffic in aggregate, without cookies: legitimate interest.
  • Sending you the cart reminders you asked for: your consent.
  • Answering your questions, preventing fraud and securing the website: legitimate interest.
  • Measuring how well our ads work and showing you relevant ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (“Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page).

We do not send marketing emails without your consent and we never sell your data.

Who has access to it

Only the service providers we need: Stripe (payment), our suppliers and carriers (order preparation and delivery: name, address, phone number), Google (order tracking spreadsheet), Zoho (email) and Vercel (website hosting), Umami (visit statistics), and only with your consent Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) (advertising measurement). Some are located outside the European Union (Canada, United States); these transfers are covered by adequacy decisions of the European Commission or by standard contractual clauses.

How long

  • Order data: 10 years (accounting obligations).
  • Exchanges with customer service: 3 years after the last contact.
  • Technical logs: a few weeks at most.
  • Advertising measurement cookies: 13 months at most.
